Re: Obama Administration Meltdown Thread

I hadn't seen those particular pictures, but I've seen plenty of BO as a kid, teenager, college student, etc. The right loved to show the pic of him at Harvard where he's wearing a black leather jacket and looks like a Black Panther. Also, seen plenty of pictures of Bush 43, Clinton, etc. when they ...

Not that he usually needs any help but Miguel Cabrera was just gifted a HR off Michael Bourn's glove. After two rain delays only about 500 Clevelanders were there to see it.

Office finale was fine. Not overtly funny but overall, nice to see everyone and earlier bits, and I really liked thr way they closed out most things, especially Jim and Pam. MacKinnon and Drouin get all the attention sure. And I agree with Degen, I'd draft MacKinnon, too, in a heartbeat. Any heartbeat. But a couple of years ago I shot my mouth off about how great Martin Frk is. And in the Memorial Cup he has been showing himself to be world-class; that's somewhat rare ...

Apparently, the Little Caesars Bowl is going to be replaced in 2014 with a bowl game run by the Lions pitting the B1G and ACC. So basically, after the best year in conference history the MAC is losing the one bowl affiliation that made the most sense. Awesome.

I hate the Catholic Church almost as much as you do and I suspect there are people -- even those really high up, possibly even the Pope himself -- who still believe in exorcism, but even I have to say I don't think there's anyway they'd perform one with cameras around.

Yeah, 3 to 4 hour waits to buy lottery tickets at the CA border when the jackpot is this high are not uncommon. When I lived in MI I'd buy $5 worth of tickets for a mega-jackpot, but I'm not waiting in line for 3 hours in 100-degree heat to piss my money away.

Man, when it rains it pours for the Astros. They should have been out of the second inning after getting screwed on a bad/missed called strike on a 2-2 count to Peralta. He ends up walking. Followed by single, infield single and three-run HR and all of the sudden it's 4-1.
