Whoa....slow your roll there, grandpa. The DKs were brilliant. Especially given what largely passed for music during that time period. California Uber Alles is about as close to a perfect punk song as you're going to find on this side of Anarchy For The U.K.

I wish I was trying the 'ol reverse jinx. I really just don't see how the Wings are going to beat them in a seven-game series. I mean obviously it's hockey and shit happens. The Red Wings won three OT games against Anaheim and obviously if any one of those games goes the other way they're done, so t...

Re: NHL Playoffs RD 1 - Western Conference

Except this isn't the Wings teams of old, no pun intended. They've got some really young players this trip around. They were lucky to make the playoffs at all and played over their heads in the Anaheim series. They didn't win a game from Chicago all season. Short of some massive goaltending meltdown...

Red Wings now have the most Game 7 wins in NHL history (14). Canadiens have 13, Bruins and Maple Leafs have 12 (with one of them moving to 13 tomorrow obviously).

Eh, some of them are pretty cool. He should have stuck to about 10 or 12 if you ask me. The Detroit one is just the city flag on a shield and the Las Vegas one for some reason has a saguaro cactus, which don't exist in Nevada.

Not exactly breaking news, but Miguel Cabrera is good at baseball. He had 5 PAs tonight and had an RBI in all of them. (4-for-4, 1 walk, 2 HRs, 6 RBI.)

He's batting over .500 with RISP this season.
