Re: Another Twothousandthirteen NHL Thread

Can't believe how many hot girls there are at these games. I swear every guy with tickets either brings their dad or their girlfriend. I've always thought that the quality of the women attending hockey is way better than you see at other sports. I think it is capable of varying wildly depending on ...

Syracuse played an amazingly flat first half and got a load of stupid play on offense from the guards, particularly when they went away from Fair when he was rolling in the first half. I never thought McGary would have played in the high post, much less slaughtered the Orange in the first half with ...

Yep. It's his first season. Jerry Howarth calls the games and Jack Morris is the "other guy" in the booth; Alan Ashby had that job last year (he moved on to Houston). Coincidentally, both Ashby and Morris are Mormons. I find it amusing that Morris is Mormon, considering he was so anti-wom...

Two things, AB. 1. Is Glenn Robinson III as good of a passer as Chane Behanan? The real key is getting the high-post passer down to the low post. McGary is probably a better low post scorer than Dieng, but Dieng gets a ton of help from Behanan making those entry passes. Triche and Carter-Williams (a...

In 18 years as a coach, including 14 at Iowa and New Mexico, Alford has more first round NCAA Tournament losses coaching a 3-seed (two) than Sweet Sixteen appearances (one - at Southwest Missouri State).

I like what the Tigers are doing. Keeping six quality starting pitchers is smart, given that they have absolutely nothing but hopes and prayers in the minors. They've got good relief pitchers. If no closer emerges, they can deal for another arm in July. Too, the rotation may be so strong that the n...
