i have to find some way to channel my anger that The Greatest Pitcher in MLB HistoryTM was left off of 8.9% of ballots.

I blame Bush.

agreed - that pic is amazing but it's not quite accurate to say that's before it hits - that IS the storm hitting. My parents live in Snyder/Amherst and as of some point this afternoon they'd had about 3". My buddy a few miles south was looking at something over 50" and counting. right on,...

as a kid the first time i heard of him was when the (MISL) Buffalo Stallions signed him. we had season tickets and the word was "he's a soccer legend!" - he played 5 games, pulled a hammie, and retired. And pitifully that's all i knew about him for like 10 years.

i actually found it smoother than the regular Talisker and certainly more than the 57 North which we now have. (Smoother doesn't always mean better to me but it's a good whisky). the 57 North is really peppery and smoky - not a first-timer whisky - add a drop of water to the glass and it's perfect. ...

My parents toured several distilleries. They thought Edradour was the best. It is the smallest and one of the oldest distilleries. The operations are entirely run by 3 guys. Very quaint looking place, too. The tour was given by an old battleaxe of a woman who was bitter and cranky. They loved it. t...
