Re: Swamp Bucket List
I do miss the BBQ meetups with the Boston folks (and the Mexican ice cream/beef on weck afternoons with Max.) Well, I kinda just want to meet everyone just because. I think I've met about 20 or so of you so far, so for the travel excuse alone, getting a drink and talking shit in person is cool enoug...

Re: Swamp Bucket List
I think a massive concert with bands chosen from the Spins and Jazz threads, drinks from the What Are You Drinking thread, that took place at a minor league park after a sweet afternoon AA game would be pretty fun.

Re: NFL Free Agency
Looks like Vollmer is now finalized. Has escalator clauses (Pro Bowl, etc.) but also has very good injury protection and only a 3 Mil hot this year 6+ if he hits everything, so very good value.

He is one of the best in the league. The entire line is pretty damn good at both run and line blocking. Vollmer is important as without him they lose the depth which (see Steeler, Pittsburgh) is very important to be a sucessful team

Beer Advocate is usually fairly reliable. BA is way too full of beer hipsters. They over rate things because of name and brewery. Plus the brothers (the founders) are assholes. Drank at Wynkoop, The Chophouse, and Breckenridge taprooms today. Wynkoop had a stellar barrel aged stout, and Breckenridg...

They give awards in so many categories that those awards don't mean much. Hell Busch has multiple golds. If you're looking at a new beer to try look it up on Rate Beer. They use a algorithmic rating based on the type of beer as well as over all rating. If its 95 or above you are most likely going to...

Also for 100$ or so you can get a GoogleTV box that does all that Internet shit, and searches for programmes on cable/Internet/subscriptions very very cool service.

Enjoying a Stone Enjoy By 4.20.13 IPA. Very nice.
Prefer it to Pliny.
Taste tested Heady Topper against Deviant Dale's this past weekend. Heady was better but only by a slight margin.

There are a few stories about this. I think the crazy combined with the nearly 5 million cap hit is the reason for the cut. Though if he wasn't due the bonus I think he'd still be on the team. Apparently Lloyd has some crazy in him too, which is one of the reasons they let him go. So they floated th...

Perhaps you can slide one in to the wardrobe if you create some sweet logo and add a Metheny "1" on the back. Tell her it's a old Lee's Summit Jazz Cats jersey.
