Re: 2013 MAC Football Thread

Now looking like a sure thing Eric Fisher will be the highest drafted MAC player in history. He even had a private workout with the KC Chiefs (first pick overall) in Mount Pleasant yesterday. Would be pretty mind-blowing to have a Chippewa drafted first overall in the NFL Draft. It's not all it's c...

Assuming AD does indeed come out in May as promised you can get away with just $8. And the worst case is probably $16. I'm not good at math today apparently.

Re: Arrested Development

I've never signed up for Netflix. (I know - I oughta be in a museum.) It really would be worth your while to just sign up for a couple of months. There are only about 50 episodes total to watch them all. Then have the account for when the new ones come out. Your first month is free, too. So basical...

Re: Tubby era in Gopherland

There's a special level of lunacy in the Minnesota AD department. Remember they fired Glen Mason after going to bowl games for like 7 or 8 straight years. How'd that work out for them? One of the sports radio guys in Seattle used to say "Don't get tired of winning". Exactly what are the e...

I actually get a little depressed when I think about AD lasting for as short as it did. I think the MWC deserves some accolades. It's top isn't at the level of the Big Ten or Big East, but it's bottom is stronger than the majority of conferences. And anyway, judging on the basis of a small sample of games is similar to judging a baseball or hockey team that had a very fine regular sea...

I really think that Stevens has proven enough at Butler that he has no reason to move to a mid-level team in a big conference.
