4th Annual Swamp NHL Playoff Pool

A Sportsfrog tradition like no other! (other than every other fantasy league on the Swamp).

Easy to enter, open to all swampers and lurkers too!

Setup:

Players are sorted into 8 equal groups, based on Points Per Game rates from the regular season. As you go from group 1 to 8, points get progressively more valuable, meaning a goal/assist for Ovechkin (group 1) is worth 1 point, while a goal/assist for Jarome Iginla (group 4) is worth 1.75 points, and so on. There is also a team group, which awards either 4 or 8 points for a series win, depending on the seed of the team.

How to enter:
1. Pick your roster of 12 players. Players can be from any group, but you can only have a max of 3 players from any 1 team.
2. Pick 1 team from the teams group
3. PM roster to me.

DEADLINE: Entries can be submitted up to 6:00 CST WEDNESDAY MAY 1 (however points will not be counted until roster is received)

Updates and Standings will be posted in this thread dailyish, as well as a link to the google spreadsheet.

Hi, I'm kranepool and I have a problem. (Hi, Kraner!)

I fucked up my highly-analytical roster with bad data and the result is that I have 4 Penguins, which is unfair and against the rules.

If it's ok with the group conscience, I'd like to swap out a Penguin with a player from another team in the same point-class and with the same number of points as the outbound Penguin.

We cool?
