If I had my way, testicular cancer awareness month with coincide with breast cancer awareness month and it would turn into R-rated super happy fun times.

No, they dropped $2,100 to get a ton of hits and subscribers to their website. Consider it advertising money that they will surely get back. As for breast cancer awareness perviness, I am pretty sure this shit blew up after I was married.

Yea, that's true. They will earn it back. People get paid off of being entertaining on YouTube. If I wasn't so lazy and ambivalent, I'd do the whole channel thing. I wanted to in Korea, but yea. Too much work to learn. Not enough viewership. Plus I had soju to drink and stuff to do. Etc...etc...

If they really cared about charity or cancer research, they could just donate the money anonymously. But of course, that's NOT what they are interested in. Like 99% of the other charity leaches out there, they just want the publicity and the appearance of being good guys.

The video is now set to private. They're not going to earn many advertising dollars that way.

That said, from things I've read, making money on Youtube is hit or miss and greatly depends on exactly how you structure the adverts and all that. Some people make a shit tonne off of one viral video, while others make a pittance off of their entire channel.
