Got the Seahawks -11 as the last element of a three team parlay. Line is now -14. Hedged with that so that either way, I'm up about $65. A 28-14 Seahawks win also nets me 1/3 of the Pick 7 pot.

Would one of you rate my gambling story?

Line moved up to 44, so I jumped on it. Hedged $44 to win $40, so my night looks like this if Seattle wins (I'm including the $5 weekly entry fee as a sunk cost -- also I was freerolling after winning week 2 anyway):

43 or under -- win $40
44 - $0
45 - lose $44
46 - win $6
47 or over - win $31

All in all, not a bad range of rooting interests. Of course the final will probably be 31-14 now.

Saints fall, making this a one-man contest, Keg. Not worried; he has the Red Clouds in overtime, and the Raiders. I smell carryover.

Cowboys escaped. Honorable mention to GPJ, who avoided both the Cowboys and Saints. But had the Bengals (and the screwed because it's Buffalo Bills).

I like this game. Between $5 a week and Nfl RedZone, I enjoy my lazy Sundays.

Man, I shouldn't have bothered. I did not want to peek at the board, as that seems unfair to see what others are picking before submitting mine. And I only had a couple of minutes. So my card is too chalkish to have much of a chance. My only chance rests on a Raider win. Uggh. And my genius against the grain pick is the fucking Dolphins in turmoil. Damn I'm glad I don't bet on sports, beyond a token $5-10 bucks here and there.
