Seriously, the animations were great. I enjoyed that way more than I should have. I couldn't stop laughing in the beginning, but then the excitement of the feat took over. Not really, I just can't believe grown men devote their lives to miniature golf. Holy fuck. That turned lame when I hit 10. Then it became fun again when we discovered that if you hit it through the canon hard enough, it would launch and you could hit the course 2 holes down. That, and it was on a steep slope with a retaining wall. If you ran and jumped off the wall, you would fly like Shirley-Dave in the long jump.

But what I gathered from the movie is that the type of course you are describing (and the type I used to play at), is not a regulation Putt Putt course. These guys played on courses without windmills or giant clown faces.

I looked it up - these guys run a number of professional tours.

When I was in college, I lived in a beach house in Narragansett and there was an awesome mini-golf place down the street. I delivered pizzas on Friday nights and every Friday night I got home, me and my roommate would pack a cooler and a bowl and sneak onto the course and play 18. Usually got others involved too. We eventually got caught by the cops but for the time we did it, it was epic. Whoever had the highest score on the prior hold had to be "Bag Boy" and carry the cooler and basically do anything you were told. You did not want to be bag boy.

Putt-Putt is one of those things like Kleenex and Jello that has transcended its trademark and become synonymous, but actual Putt-Putt courses don't have the clown's mouth and crazy shit like that. Those places (I don't think) can't use the words "Putt-Putt" in their name.

Just about every plastic cup I've seen at a sporting event lists the number of ounces the cup holds on the bottom. Just get one of each and see what the actual number of ounces is and do some fucking math*. This isn't rocket science.

* - This assumes an arena/stadium that you visit often enough where it makes sense to know this stuff.

Yeah, but it seems fair to assume that they aren't gouging you intentionally. In this case it's a taller, thinner cup that gives an Illusion, Michael.

My point is even when the two cups were held up side by side the large didn't look that much bigger than the small. If I see that I'm instantly thinking -- why pay an extra $3 for the large. If I had to bet, I'd say the small is a 16 oz. cup and the large is a 20 oz. cup, which in no way would justify the extra $3 premium, of course. If they DIDN'T give you the option of buying the small it would be one thing, but if you're enough of a sucker to look at the two cups and think the large is the better deal, then you deserved to get ripped off.

I think O'Reilly is a bigger clown that Galifa...Zach, and Obama did an interview with O'Reilly. Despite Obama's lack of comedic acting chops, that video was hilarious. Not sure why I haven't watched more of 2 Ferns. Followed up with Bradley Cooper and Conan O'Brien, great stuff.

Forgot to mention the other thing that pissed me off about the O'Reilly clip. The Repub strategist said something about Obama not being up to the task of handling an interview like that, and how it could have gone anywhere. Like there is a chance in hell that entire thing was scripted and subject to editing at the discretion of the White House. Going on O'Reilly is what he should have been worried about. Fox has quite a long history of editing video to enhance their agenda. Or was that interview live? Probably even worse.The biggest issue I have with it though, is it serves to legitimize BillO.

An unknown (AFAIK, maybe hipsters are aware of this brand) clothing company just got 40 million hits on Youtube and countless articles written about them in 2 or 3 days for a commercial.
