This thread has me chuckling, and reminising about some of my early interactions with "internet people."

Had a pretty big group of folks from across the country on bigsoccer and we finally made plans to meet up in Columbus for the first La Guerra Fria... Without going into exhaustive detail, some folks were even funnier and more wonderful in person (and I eventually attended 3 weddings out of that initial meetup over the years, have vacationed with a few of them, visit them when I'm in their town, etc.)

But, hooboy, some of those folks were NOT OKAY. The highlight was the couple from NYC that came over to a BBQ I hosted and -- Oopsie -- dropped a tinfoil packet on the ground out of her purse (she didn't notice) and my toddler picked up and played with for probably 5 minutes before the woman noticed and freaked out and snatched out of my kids hands.

Some Internet People are fucking weird, man.

I'm glad you didn't out my plates in the TD Bank parking lot 10 years ago! Although I don't think you spotted me, so maybe I should have posted your plate. Except I didn't even think to look at them and wouldn't post anyways plates online. Because I'm not a weirdo.

As stated and explained in the thread opener Sunday is the day I've got circled as a day of full-on Swampuppery. But AB is getting into NJ on Saturday and while I'm working up some plans to show him the sights and keep him entertained if anyone local wanted to meet up with him and that day works better we can probably figure something out. Let me know here and we can work it out, or PM me, or PM me if need my address and you're not an internet stalker (who ironically(?) will probably end up not needing my address this weekend).

The OFFICIAL Swampup is Sunday, though that's going to pretty much just consist of hanging out in my backyard and drinking and eating and playing various backyard games and petting cerrano's dog. I'd say anytime late morning through ??? would be good.

Saturday is a little more up in the air. AB is getting to NJ in the morning, and I was thinking of taking the scenic route down to a shore town, maybe AP, just so he can say he's been to the Jersey Shore. We'd be back no later than 3PM or so because I need to get my kid to work at 4PM. Not sure what we're doing between then and when she needs to be picked up (around 10). Or after 10PM, for that matter.

Let me know what works for you, especially if it's Saturday, and we'll try to be available.
