That's delightful.
On an unrelated note, the Wembayama debut is on ESPN at 9:30.

Me waking up at 3:30ish and seeing the alert on my phone: Oh, they traded Harden finally. Nice.
Reads a little more, sees they're getting back Robert Covington: Oh for fuck's sake.
My avatar corresponds on my place in the Swamp posting list with the all-time Home Run list. Number 45 is Paul Konerko with 439.

Trades like this, a 20-10 guy for a 1st rounder that's currently a 12 year old, make the NBA so fun but the Knicks are such an unfun team to watch. Its a lot of effort on my part to really try to get back in.

wasn't it fairly obvious that any Harden to the Clippers trade was likely going to include Covington's expiring contract as filler to make salaries match?

Grizzlies got screwed last night. Let’s have this tournament to make the early season games mean more but we’ll T you up if you hang on a rim a tad too long after a monstrous dunk to put your team up two with seconds left. Then two free throws at end of regulation by Blazers to tie who then won in OT.
Meanwhile Draymond Green can literally scream “bullshit” directly at the refs during both free throws and not a whistle blown.

Attending two Rockets games this week. Tonight v. Kings and Wednesday v. Lakers. Tonight is courtesy of a giveaway from a food festival and Wednesday is one of my friends taking me and another buddy with his wife's work tickets. The word courtside was used, so I'm finding out tonight what exactly that means. Also, my sister won a silent auction this weekend for 2 free suite tickets with all you can eat/drink for any game this year. And they're actually a lot of fun to watch. So that's just a bonus.

Just don't be like that guy who decided to barf all over himself courtside.

I'd take some ipecac if it was the Warriors and hope it kicks in right as Draymond ran past me.

Just got the ticket transferred to me and it's row 1, midcourt, right behind scorer's table. So that'll be neat.

Decided last minute to go to the Nuggets-Warriors game last night...my wife has been a long-time "fan" of Steve Kerr (a.k.a. "crush") so she wanted to go. If Porter and Gordon stay dialed in this team will be as dangerous than last year. No Murray for the Nuggets and no Draymond for the Warriors and a rough night for the guys off the bench but to handle an allegedly resurgent Golden State is a good sign.
Up next going to check out the Spurs on Nov. 26 as long as Wembenyana isn't hurt by then.
I would like expensive whiskey.
We only have beer & wine...
What am I, 12?
