"I keek a Touchdown"

You gotta be old to get that reference.

Garo Yepremian, Whose Kicks Outshined One Pass, Dies at 70

As I remember it, Garo never said what he is quoted, but Alex Karras was making fun of him.
Who knows? Maybe, you were kidnapped, tied up, taken away and held for ransom.

There must be a list somewhere of quotes that Person A attributes to Person B. This is one of the great ones.

Almost certainly Karras made this up. It's just too good, and Karras was clown. After his suspension for gambling was over, he declined to call the coin toss at the beginning of the game because that would be gambling.

Though who knows? Karras was from a Greek family and Yepremium was from Cyprus -- maybe Karras was just translating. There were many stories during Garo's brief time in Detroit that testify to his cluelessness about American football.

But the guy could make a tie!
