I'm rooting for Tampa since Callahan and Boyle are two of my favorites and Richards is my absolute least favorite. So, congrats Chicago.

Knowing the Rangers 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th D in terms of TOI had leg injuries (a break, a chipped bone and 2 knee sprains) against a quick as hell Tampa team makes me feel a little better about the result.

I think more terrifying was his assertion that he "probably" would have missed the finals, had they made it. Hopefully that wasn't serious.

It is always interesting to learn who all was severely injured after a team gets eliminated. Wars of attrition.

Enrique does it and it's "professionalism"

Its pretty funny that if you take the old Flyers top 4 D, 3 are in the SCF now and the 4th is both still a Flyer and a league employee. Great franchise.

I've been more or less avoiding this topic out of fear of reading that. I get nervous enough watching guys coming back from concussions play their first few games; this should be just awful.

I've got the NHL network on in the office this afternoon. They're running through media day stuff. Kathryn Tappen keeps talking about how gorgeous and hot it is today in Tampa, as the network shows B roll clips of the area.

It's been gray and rainy here all day.

Bishop looks to be less than 100%, but he was the better goalie tonight.

We've discussed Chicago's lack of depth on defense, and now Johnny Oduya might be injured. That would be a big loss.

Funny that Toews, Kane and Stamkos have all been kept off the scoresheet in the first three games. Tampa looks to have better depth all around.

Big win for the Hawks and the worst single play I think I've ever seen by a goaltender. Bishop came out to damn near the blue line.

A deadspin commentator dropped a "Leeroy Jennkkinnns" meme on the point at which he hits his defender. I am still laughing.

Having a bunch of 2-1 games makes it a bit easier to understand not see big guns scoring. No one is scoring!

Disagree that Bolts have better depth. Hawks 3rd and 4th lines are doing just fine. On blue line, yes, up front Tampa is not better.

Rangers would have swept either of these two garbage pails. The hockey world is lucky Zucc got hurt and the Rangers gave up more goals than they scored against Tampa.

A sign of the times, Toews raises the Stanley Cup and there's hardly any noise in the crowd. Everyone is taking pictures with their phone.
