Those look like really cheap knockoffs. They don't even have the Nike logo (blue looks to have one on the inside back of the neck, but no way those are real.

Surprised Pefok did not make the squad. No robinson, weah, vasquez, or wright. This is also the chance that Turner steps ahead of the injured Steffen.

I refused to believe the kits were real until today and I still am trying to refuse to believe they're real. the white ones have a real 2002 vibe to them

A few of those guys are hurt (Weah and Robinson). Very surprised about Pefok. We are full of talent, but I fear GGG is going to fall back on these MLS guys in a pinch and it's just annoying. The ceiling for those guys is well known at this point. /broken record

The tie-dyes are pretty WTF and should be at best practice kits. I think I prefer the zigzags at this point? And I'm with bronto on the white kit. Sure it's clean but what the hell is going on at the collar? And the placement of the crest is bothering me, but maybe that's just me since I've always preferred t-shirts with either nothing on the front or just a small left-breast logo and then any larger graphics on the back.

I usually hate new uniforms at first and then grow to like them. These just flat out suck. The white ones look like the worst of cheap Chinese knock-offs you find in discount stores. And I don't mean the kind passed off as real, I mean the $5 unlicensed not even pretending to be real uniforms.

Canada will be the ONLY country of the 32 in the World Cup that will not have new kits for the tournament...
That's just embarrassing, nevermind the missed opportunity to sell some jerseys to help the hype train.

However, after seeing the American jerseys, maybe it's not so bad of an idea to stay with the old ones.

Dammit. I said I wouldn't say anything.

Aren't stars on a national kit supposed to represent World Cup trophies?? Are we, like, touting our Gold Cup wins??

Right now the entire US O is down the right hand side. The left side of the field looks uninterested. And the defense needs to stop handing the ball to the Japan strikers.

Vines just isn't making himself available on the left. You know Gio wants the ball.

Centerbacks were just very poor in possession, but not a lot of options. Long, in particular, is just too shaky with the ball at his feet. Bad decisions. Zimmerman not a lot better.

Ferriera just brings nothing to this style of play. GGG needs to move the fuck on with him.

And there you go... GGG pushes Vines up the flank, immediately starts to open Japan.

I'm not sure I'd say this is the least excited I've been, but I would absolutely agree that GGG is incredibly wedded to a system and not bringing a guy like Pefok, who is tearing it up in the Bundesliga, is a great example.

We know what the MLS guys bring. They simply aren't up to the international level. They take too long over the ball and the make really bad decisions once they finally pull the trigger.

And it took him way to long to adjust to what Japan was doing. You don't wait 40 minutes to move Vines up the flank in that situation. It was incredibly obvious they were running a trap on the outside backs and we just made it very easy and predictable. And that's a Japan team that had a few weeks, maybe, to focus on the US (as a coaching staff), think what these other teams in our group are going to do.

We need Musah or we are sunk.

At least Turner looked sharp. And he got two or three games worth of work against Japan.

According to Roger Bennett, US gave the ball away 54 times in their own half during the first half. I can’t fathom how that’s possible. Can’t fathom how GGG hasn’t realized he can’t continue to play out of the back. It’s maddening.
