I like some of the updates on the iOS version. Haven't played with it much yet though.

Thanks, Brian.

I used it (quite literally every day, all day) last season. I was hoping to get a bootleg copy *cough cough will provide email address cough cough* again but I'm hours away from simply buying it.

The one thing for which I can't find an answer is . . . if I download/pay for it on my Samsung phone, can I also put it on my Android tablet thing? Could last year. But I'd like to verify that. And, as with all Internet questions, if I have the question then a million other people have had the question, too.

I didn't have to buy it again this year. If you bought it last year, I'd think it would still work. I thought MLB changed that nonsense of having to buy it every year. I could be wrong though.

Leyland's going to use a guy who should be a LOOGY as his closer. Why? Because he actually closed in the playoffs last year against the one team in MLB it made sense for him to close against because of all their lefties.

This will end well I'm sure.

ETA: Jesus, I take it back. He actually left Benoit in the 9th. I'm flabbergasted. He might actually realize Coke sucks balls against righties.

I don't know what the record for most times no-hit in a season but the Astros may make a run at it.

I didn't know Yu is so big. Listed at 6'5" 225.

Vin just gave us a recap of the Battle of Inchon, Sept 15, 1950. (Dodger starter Hyun Jin Ryu's home town)

Man, for a moment I was thinking about who the Astros would have hitting for the pitcher in the 9-slot.

Why would you lock up Andrus with Profar right there? Are they gonna deal Profar now?

Keith Law has been pushing for Kinsler to move to 1st and then have Profar play second.

Profar isn't as valuable at second. I don't get it, unless they turn around and trade Profar for Stanton or McCutchen or something.

Having two capable top 5 SS isn't the worst thing in the world. Sure, its a little dip in value to move Profar to the other side, but if you think you can create another Cano you'll get over it.

Josh Willingham's walk-up music is "I Don't Want to Lose Your Love" by The Police. Which is kind of an...unusual choice I'd say.

Although this does raise the question . . . what would be the worst possible walk-up music?

And it's easy to say something like Gaggy Beeber Lala nonsense but the thing is that rubbish is actually popular.

We've had "What would be your walk-up music" threads in the past. Probably not a bad idea to began anew with one since baseball just got under way.

Worst possible selection? I'll suggest Leo Sayer's "When I Need You".

Oh, absolutely. It's way inexplicable of a selection.

Maybe some kids music. Like something from one of those kids shows like Yo Gabba Gabba. Would be creepy to boot.

As long as he puts up fantasy numbers like last year, he could come out to "Mmmm ... Bop" for all I care.

(Speaking of Willingham, I've seen speculation the Reds might make a play for him since Ludwick is going to be out for half the year. I don't see it happening myself, but there's no question the Reds are in a win-now situation. His contract isn't obscene - $7M this year - but I'm sure the Twins would want Cingrani or Corcino from the Reds, and I don't think the Reds would go for that.)

Oh Leyland. You are the worst. Who in the world could have predicted that having a closer who gets fucking destroyed by RH batters would end poorly? I can't even really work up any anger at this point. He's just such a fucking idiot.

Why not use matchups, Leyland? Alburquerque and Dotel were both available. And Dotel has closed before, so it's not like you have to fire one up in the runway as soon as you give him the ball.

No shit. If you're going to do the closer by committee thing (which I'm totally fine with) then at least use the tools you have correctly. I knew he was going to leave Coke in after he got out Parmelee, but after he left Benoit in to start the ninth, I had hope that he might have had Dotel or ABQ warming up in the pen ready to come in after that out.

I will not be sad to see Chris Davis leave town. 5 for 8 with 2 2Bs and 2 HRs 7 RBIs so far in less than 2 games.

He loves TB pitching. O's come back to tie the game vs. Rodney only to lose on a walk off HR by Joyce.
