I want to give us more of a chance. Temperate forest. Also ups possibilities of hilarious encounters w/ animals.

Temperate all the way. Ideologue is hard enough depending on the memes (that is what each part of your ideologue is called). I would suggest not doing tree lovers or vegetarians (very difficult to not starve or build shit in the beginning).


Any idea what story teller? I would suggest Phoebe or Randy. And edit the Rituals to bring in additional people to join (although that increases sizes of raids).

I always use Randy since the randomness is sort of the point of what makes the game fun.

And yes, will do the new joiners as ritual rewards.

So here's how the ideology is shaping up. I'd recommend dropping the "high life" thing since having your colonists stoned all the time can make things difficult believe it or not. That can be an attribute of one of the other factions.

Still taking suggestions, especially on the festivals and relics.

Swampcrash? I don't think I even remember what that is but it sounds like a really fun game I'd love to play again soon.

I can turn on insect meat but to like fungus we have to be weird tunnel people and it changes a lot of the game mechanics.

Can we get a pet bee and name it Bee Arthur

The Tapir should be our pet. He brings the level of bravado the colony will need to survive in these modest, temperate climates.

Looks like red panda will edge out several others to be our colony pet, unless there's a last minute swing of the vote.
