Vehemently disagree on last sentence. Bengals fans are loyal to a fault and have been traveling. There were 10,000 at the chiefs game.

Totally agree with Bengal. Since last week, there have been a crazy amount of long-time diehard bengals fans in Lexington who are insulted when you ask if they've ever seen a game in the past ten years.tennbengal wrote: ↑Tue Feb 01, 2022 6:03 amVehemently disagree on last sentence. Bengal fans come over to Baltimore in droves (as do Steelers and Browns fans).

Bengals fans probably don't break into the top quartile of fan bases, but they're in no way a weak fan base like in the Falcons tier.

Oh we are definitely in the right area. But most of the people I know who now refer to the Bengals as 'we" sure as shit gave up them for a long time there, even switching allegiances to more successful teams like the Colts and Packers in the interim. Hey, people should enjoy what they can in this day and age, but I am going to judge you from my seat of jealousy!tennbengal wrote: ↑Tue Feb 01, 2022 9:36 amGeorgetown is right there! ...and I've been one for 40 years. Let me clarify by saying tickets in theory should be easier to get compared to if Pittsburgh, New England, Dallas, either NY, Cleveland, New Orleans, Kansas City, Denver, SF, Chicago, Philly, Green Bay, Las Vegas or Seattle were playing.tennbengal wrote: ↑Tue Feb 01, 2022 6:03 amVehemently disagree on last sentence. Wow. That is not at all what I expected. I was thinking like 2 Grand to get you in the building, and like 8 to 12 for lower bowl.

Yeah...ANY fleeting thoughts I had well...lol. Nope. Even if those come down by half - between airfare, hotel, etc. - that's easily a $10K trip.
Re: NFL Playoffs 2022 (following 2021 Season) and what not
You can get in the building for $4500+fees now...down about a grand from yesterday. I'm guessing they'll drop another $1,000 or by next week and level off there. Still too rich for my blood.
The flight/rental car/lodging is costing me just under $500 for Saturday-Monday so if I don't go the game it's a pretty cheap trip. I'll hit a few fan events and watch at a Bengal bar and still have a good time.

If he pays me $2000 he can come and use my in-home bar. I'll throw in a room for the night gratis. Former staff member of the Rams lives next door so if he's itching for a fight we can probably drum one up.

Ok since nobody here gives a shit about the Super Bowl, here’s a Conference Championship Game fact!
25 teams have been to at least 4 title games since the merger and only 8 have winning records. All but two (Denver and Seattle) are from either East division.
(Bengals are 3-0)

Many league employees get a pair of free tickets. They're not allowed to sell them (the tickets are tracked as to who receives them), but their tickets never being available on the market helps limit the number that are available.GoodKarma wrote: ↑Tue Feb 01, 2022 3:21 pm You can get in the building for $4500+fees now...down about a grand from yesterday. COMMANDERS!!
Great fucking quote, from that hearing:
“When the investigation of the air pressure of Tom Brady’s football concludes with a 200-plus page report but the investigation into two decades of sexual harassment concludes with nothing, it shows the NFL’s complete lack of respect towards women, their employees, and our culture as a country," said Emily Applegate, a former marketing coordinator and ticket sales representative.

My friend has two tickets for the 2022 SUPER BOWL, both box seats. He paid $2,500 each ticket, but he didn't realize last year when he bought them, it was going to be on the same day as his wedding. If you are interested, he is looking for someone to take his place...

The lowest price on Stubhub is around $3500. So I guess a significant drop percentage-wise, but not reality-wise.Brontoburglar wrote: ↑Thu Feb 10, 2022 2:57 pmthe drop has been very significant!Brontoburglar wrote: ↑Mon Jan 31, 2022 10:47 pm I'll be surprised if ticket prices have a significant drop given the Bengals' SB drought and a hometown team in a large metropolis with a lot of disposable income

I haven't heard of a single Lions fan who isn't rooting for the Rams Sunday, which should give you an idea of how much Stafford was appreciated by the fanbase and how little blame he gets for the Lions issues while he was QB1. Sadly, this might literally be the closest I get to seeing the Lions win a Super Bowl.

AB, think of it this way: What several days ago would've bought you a Super Bowl ticket could now buy you a Super Bowl ticket, a ticket to see Keith Yandle and a Keith Yandle jersey.

In this instance I'd think a 50% drop is the minimum where I'd reconsider purshasing something I want but consider absurdly expensive.
