Thanks to a generous neighbor, Super Bowl game tickets have been secured. We'll see how this goes.

So I’m going to miss my first Super Bowl since Steelers-Rams. Good luck to the Bengals and Rams contingents here. I’ll be rooting for you guys from afar, and I’ll see who wins when I wake up in the middle of the night to pee.

Have a great time and congrats to all the Bengals fans who have been waiting far too long.

There's a pint waiting for you at 4Noses whenever you want to drink it.

Whoa. Enjoy. Enough to make me an honorary Bengal fan for the evening. And maybe Sony Michel gets a TD or two.

Go early. Leave plenty of time for lines to get in through security, etc.

Keep your eyes peeled on the way in for the people handing out the free rally towels as a souvenir (they will run out). Should things unfold in a manner you find preferable, you should be able to buy memorabilia to commemorate those feelings on the way out of the stadium. If there is some general Super Bowl souvenir you want to get, do so prior to the game, as they run out of a lot of stuff.

Have fun.

Guess he’s out of luck for hints on how much time to leave himself if he wants to get a beer during the anthem?

Have fun, GK. DSafe, I take it you’re not working this one?

I’m rooting for the Bengals, but I expect the Rams to cover the spread by a touchdown. I just don’t trust Cincy’s offensive line.

I do think the Rams win but there are a couple disturbing trends:

Rams are 0-3 in Super Bowls when facing a QB whose last name starts with B

Last time the Rams as the favorite faced a second year QB in their first Super Bowl, it didn't end well.

Off to meet Brian in a bit as he has graciously offered a ticket to a Circa SB party.

Happy Super Bowl!

Yes, but I would generally suggest that, when the game-associated stuff starts (Walter Payton award, singing, etc.), there is about 35 minutes of free time to fill.

Jay Z took over, so my last one was two years ago. We were asked to help his team that year and our response was along the lines of, "we expect you're going to take our jobs, but we don't have to help you do it".

The company that got hired last year emailed to see if I was interested in coming back with them, but I declined. My interest in going to Florida during the pre-vaccine portion of the pandemic was non-existent, especially with a pretty good guess on how much I expected to be done to protect the staff and crew. Having talked to a couple people who worked last year, my guess was correct.

Kinda bummed, as I had been looking forward to going back to LA for a couple years before we lost the show, as I haven't been since we moved and there are plenty of friends to see. Oh, well.

A minor tidbit the kid next door just mentioned! This is the first Super Bowl where both teams had representations of their animal mascots across their whole helmets instead of just a logo on the side.

Dre and Snoop were perfect the rest was less. Should have just stuck with Death Row and had Daz and Kurrupt and everyone come out.

Now here's a guy who hates it when a game feeds into the announcer's narrative.
