What does it say about the British that the official report is that she is resting under observation and everyone assumes she’s already dead?

I was about to post that at least Dr. Joyce is still with us but I missed that she died back in 2013.

So, this is weird. A week ago we received a USPS sealed loose plastic envelope package (like Amazon uses). Nothing in the package but a small bent up paper plate. Looked up the return address and it was a vacant lot in Lakeland, Florida. Then, today we received another of the same kind of sealed package, and this time the package only contained a small USB connector. It was from Oswego, New York. No paperwork in either package.

But, we noticed that the two different packages were both machine-stamped with the very same U.S. postage paid permit number.

Weird

AB, did you get a weird package or an unexpected package? Because that shit SC received is WEIRD. This won't help but I'd be creeped the fuck out. Contact your local USPS? (you must have some contacts you can lean on from your time in the service)

Yes. We got an empty envelope with some Chinese or similar characters written on it.

You should definitely immediately plug that USB connector into your computer where you do your online banking.

So, I chatted with the postmaster of my local post office about this matter. She said it is probably related to a scam. Somehow your or somebody else's credit card gets fraudulently charged for a fake online order. Then, if the order gets tracked, they can show a physical delivery made to you. Apparently, the crooks have to hack into the vendor's system to make this happen.

Coincidentally, my wife's card got hit with a couple fraudulent charges last month. We noticed and reported them right away, so we had the charges removed from our account, and my wife was issued a new card.

Clemson coach Dabo Swinney agreed to a new 10-year, $115 million contract Thursday, the largest college football coaching contract by total compensation.

The new, enhanced contract runs through the 2031 football season and averages $11.5 million over 10 years. In 2022, Swinney is set to earn $10.5 million, just behind Alabama coach Nick Saban, who recently got a raise and extension that will pay him $10.7 million this season.

My buddy named his fantasy team “Enemy of the People”. So, I got access to the commissioner tools (I am not commish). And changed his team name to “Enema of the People”. Waiting to see how long it takes until he notices.

Is there something wrong with me? I can't remember the structure of the song "Shout".

I've known it for 40 years. All that comes to mind though is the Animal House part and the parts they play at ball games.

I know there's a part where it gets softer, and then louder, and then they jump up. And a part where they say "now wait a minute". But which comes first?

Does the song have a beginning and an end?

Help?

Yeah, it starts with the "In the Air Tonight" drums and then they say Shout for 30 seconds and that's definitely the whole song.

ETA: Dead serious, I thought this was about Tears for Fears (which I equally couldn't tell you the structure of for a million dollars)
