Ducks (1) - Trav
Hurricanes (2) - Nonlinear, Rass

INCORRECT (12)
Blackhawks - AB
Avalanche - BFJ
Canucks - Duff

This is classic...

Canadiens
Flames
Figured. The team has made a decision this season (so far at least) to focus on playing safer and not getting wrong answers and so far it's working out, so we decided against Calgary.

Yes?
Nope, I didn't go back and learn the history of SH sports. And because I did all of my continuing legal education courses at Seton Hall Law School which is in Newark, I assumed the entire campus was in Newark and never thought about it until we walked around the campus last year for my son to get a comparison.

And yeah, trask does sound like an Ikea bookshelf. And I avoided pu'u because Hawaiin seemed the most obvious. I was too scared to guess a Slavik/Eastern European language because there are a lot of them that are pretty similar.

I tried to pick ones that were figure-out-able. Agreed that saying Czech instead of the 8 other languages right around it would have been the biggest gamble. I also thought the Turkish one looked Indonesian?

My issue with Hawaiian is that it looks REALLY similar to Tahitian (and Samoan and Tongan and I'm sure some other islands out that way), so didn't want to get it wrong.

So, I took a shot with Swahili because that one word looked African and that's the only one I know off the top of my head.

Good game, Pru.

I’m pissed at myself for not watching the vid and guessing Joe West from the still. (I stupidly missed the link Ryan provided at end of the email). Had I watched it, I would have had to go with Fraser because he tried to sell us a timeshare at the Seaview Marriot in South Jersey during the lockout in 2005. We talked hockey for most of the sales pitch (and my dad’s annoyance at Kevin Collins taking forever on face-offs) and didn’t pressure us at all to make a deal.

I only woulda lost by 15 instead of 22! (Or something like that.)

He was a few years short of the rocket launcher bat era, too. They should do a home run derby next year with 1994 Eastons.
