Re: Random Politics
I've had an email thread the last couple of days with an old friend of mine. He was probably my best friend in high school and for several years after. We faded apart after he got increasingly more aggressive about his increasingly right-wing politics. We hardly every communicate anymore even though he seems to have mellowed greatly. (His angry, out loud politics seemed to coincide with the crumbling of his first marriage, but he's much happier now.)
Anyway, our old club lacrosse goalie (who played at Army) just died, so he was letting me know and we were reminiscing.
In a sentence about another mutual friend, he mentioned not having seen him "since Wuhan hit." smh

Re: Random Politics
Showing a remarkable lack of awareness of MD politics. That dude's only shot to win in this state is to appeal to the moderate wing of the GOP here... Which is pretty large in places like Howard, MoCo, Anne Arundel, Western MD and the Eastern Shore.
Well, let me amend that to say W. MD and Eastern Shore are places where you'll see a shitload of Trump signs and back during COVID billboards and yard signs equating Hogan to Hitler (not joking).

Re: Random Politics
Yeah wasn't Hogan consistently at one of the highest approval rates in the US among governors?
But nice to see the Freedom Party continuing to reject cancel culture

I'm not one of the kids, but that seems like the television version of "posting through it".

I didn’t realize Ralph Fiennes lived in Manhattan.
My avatar corresponds on my place in the Swamp posting list with the all-time Home Run list. Number 45 is Paul Konerko with 439.

This will be the one that brings him down ...
And his one problem is he didn’t go to Russia that night because he had extracurricular activities, and they froze to death.

Another entry in the “voters are morons” file. Ten percent intend to vote for Sherrod Brown and Trump?
