I guess you weren't Swamping yet when we all adopted them as the Swamp team. (Even got our own t-shirts printed!) So, you have that connection, too!
Who was the graphic designer? Guy was here for a hot minute, eh? Speaking of, who was it that did the swamp portraits that were printed on t-shirts?

TwoEightNine did the Blackpool shirts

I don't remember who designed the portraits one, nor did I get one of those. That was quite a while ago, even for this place.

The stone version is just as casual as the logo.

Well you can want to be a Lincoln fan but I will take the 2-1 lead for the good guys in the 66th minute over a funny logo/mascot

Pool back in the playoff hunt. Currently 5th in the table. Not much room to give points away right now (teams in 6th and 7th have a way better GD) but only 5 back of 2nd place and 8 back of 1st.

Wasted opportunity today. Gave up a goal at 90+1 to Stanley (16th in table) and went from 7th to 10th in the table. Would have been playoff slot.

Pool keep going the wrong direction. Down to 13th in the table. But only 10 points from the top of the table an 5 from the playoffs with a game in hand.

Pool have had good friendly results so far. They went up 3-0 over Everton in the first 11 minutes. Everton has pulled 2 back at the half.

Baggies got, and converted, a penalty. 2-2 in the 80th.

Seasiders missed their first penalty, then the Baggies had their second and third saved. Blackpool could've won on their fifth, but hit the post. pool keeper saved the Baggies fifth though. Up the MF Pool!!

5th with a game in hand for teams around them. Need some solid play to get too much farther up the table (10 points out of 2nd), but the 4-1 thrashing for Gillingham was one of those 6 point fixtures this time of year.

Some big matches coming up
Lincoln (6th)
2 against Sunderland (3rd)

3 against bottom feeders in there too of the 9 remaining.

Doubtless a pivotal episode of next season's tragi-comedy "Sunderland 'Til I Die"

Been a while since I check this thread. I thought these guys were two or three levels down. How is sunderland in the same spot. Worse apparently. I'd like to go check it out but blackpool seems about like the cape. Cold beaches not real enticing.

Blackpool is one of the funniest places I have ever been. Was there in the mid-90s and it was so cheesy, so absolutely English.
