According to Twitter, the Vikes will be getting at least a 1st round pick in return.

Much better return than I thought they'd get.

Considering Alex Smith fetched a couple of 2nd rounders, I am not surprised at the return.

True, but he's a QB, already under contract, and not bat-ish crazy.

Meh. A guy who's never had a 1000 yd receiving season, played only 9 games last year, and has headache/injury concerns every year doesn't scare me. He popular on fantasy drafts and pre-game shows but is only slightly above average IMO. Not saying he sucks but the reaction to this seems very overblown.

In half a season he caught 62 passes for just under 700 yards, from Christian Ponder. In those 8 games in which he didn't play (or was hurt early in), Ponder threw for 1,192 yards. Basically, without Harvin, Adrian Peterson can run the ball further than Ponder can throw it.

He's well above average, basically. It's just that he's a giant 13 year old d-bag.

And as someone on Twitter wrote, he's going to a state where marijuana is basically legal. I don't think I'll draft him in my fantasy league next year.
