Half of those are wlu_lax one offs, and a quarter of the rest appear to be Red Sox Magic # threads, but hey.

I noticed the 1999 when the new "magic #" thread popped up and I went back to count how many previous instances (at least, I think) there were.

The discrepancy you noted is probably due to deleted threads?

Correct. Probably 99.9 percent of which are spammer-created.
