All time soundtracks
My wife and kid have been sick most of the week with the flu leaving me locked in the house watching endless kids movies (son is 6). In my boredom I was looking up different movie soundtracks and listening to some which lead me to google top 25 movie soundtracks.

I am more drawn to soundtracks with 60's, 70's and 80's music.
I agree with:
Lost in Translation
Singles
Pulp Fiction
Spinal Tap
Rushmore
Super Fly
All 4 Beatles
Purple Rain
I hate to admit i like Saturday Night Fever. That's the kind of music my dad always listened to on the old reel to reel.
What's yours?

Re: All time soundtracks
I’m an album completist so I can’t do soundtracks but also the answer is Judgment Night as it was a completely unique event.
(Purple Rain is an exception.)

Throw it
Though 1989 me just about wore out that cassette.
Both GOTG soundtracks got a ton of play in the car on trips with the kids, so that’s a great call BFJ. Another one we listened to a bunch way way back was the Jack Johnson Curious George soundtrack.
Pulp Fiction
Dead Presidents
Boogie Nights
All spent a lot of time in my car.

In college I remember 3 soundtracks always being played: Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, and.....Forest Gump.

Re: All time soundtracks
I always picture a soundtrack as a collection of songs from different artists. That’s why I didn’t include The Wall or The Song Remains the Same.

Pump Up The Volume. Horrible movie, great soundtrack. I’ll second Judgment Night too.

Re: All time soundtracks
Back in college my part-time campus job was going to the various classrooms and lecture halls to show movies. The Harder They Come was the first feature-length movie I did, and the same professor showed it every semester so I saw it a bunch of times. It was great.
And his one problem is he didn’t go to Russia that night because he had extracurricular activities, and they froze to death.

Gotta go Pulp Fiction. Came out my freshman year of college, and everyone was obsessed. Reservoir Dogs and Dazed and Confused were also huge.

I think I picked that Jimmy Cliff album during our epic draft a few years back.
That was some good shit, btw.
