Yeah, season 4 is probably my favorite.

The little things are crazy good. The names of the episodes tell you what happens in the 2 or 3 finale (can't remember which) but the last 4 episodes are called "Flight whatever number", "Down", "Over", and "ABQ". Gilligan is awesome.

I'll go another level with that one. Those episodes are only the episodes that show the teddy bear floating in the pool.

Whoa! Those scenes creeped the fuck out of me. After being on edge at what that meant, it was so powerful to actually see the cause. The aftermath felt so real in a much smaller 9/11 kind of way. The episode names spelling out 737 Down Over ABQ were actually spread throughout the season. Eps 1, 4, 10, 13. Not sure if any other episode names tie in. The episode before ABQ was "Phoenix," I wonder if that ties into the name clues.

The next tv series I'll be watching is The Girlfriend Experience. It's getting really good reviews.

If that title sounds familiar, there was a movie by the same name in 2009 that starred porn star Sasha Grey in a non porn roll as the main character.

I gave Billions a shot, and while it isn;t bad, Paul Giammati chews on the scenery just a little bit too hard for my liking.

You should totally give Justified a shot at some point.
I'm actually looking for a new show and set for surgery next week. I'll binge the crap out of that thing. Is he in it? Well...the actor.
Finished Justified last night. Thanks for the suggestion. Great show. Not sure why they chose to have Boyd decline the duel at the end and go to to jail instead. It didn't really fit his outlaw persona.

While Boyd certainly stands out, this show was full of eccentric villains. Sam Harris, Arlo, Mags, Duffy...but my favorite non-Crowder was Quarles. That season was awesome.

Now that USA is offering it On Demand in anticipation of Season 2, can I please implore you guys again to check out MR. ROBOT? It's the most excited I've been for a second season since GoT or Mad Men. I'll start its own thread when Season 2 rolls around in June, as it's certainly worth it.

I've been waiting for this to pop up somewhere! Although, who knows if I have anything available On Demand after Frontier took over for Verizon. #fuckfrontier

Anyone watching The Detour? Jason Jones and Samantha Bee created the show, so you know it has to be funny and weird. I saw the first two episodes, and I think this has a lot of potential to be great. Completely quirky, Jones is hilariously uncomfortable to watch, which is his sweet spot.

I caught up on the show, and it keeps getting better each episode. The last episode tried to downplay the wife's attractiveness, but yeah, she is sexy as fuck. Even in her baggy man pjs. The "chink in the armor" bit was pretty damned good.

Side note, the daughter is the actress who played the younger daughter in Louie. Confession, the actress who played the older daughter in Louie is going to be hot when she is of age.

I watched the first 6 episodes. I enjoyed it, but every episode was the same, so we got bored and dropped it out of rotation. Lowe made his character one of the best in any sitcom.

Oh man. It got better. Lots better. I agree with your assessment, but when they started working out of the "he's convinced he is a real lawyer" stuff it improved. I mean, there was still some of that, but him coming to grips with life was great.

This show got on the coveted* Nonlinear DVR List and I've watched most of the Season 1. But, something started to slip as it progressed. It just got to the point that it was so over-the-top silly -- particularly Lowe's antics -- that I couldn't stay with it.

I agree, though, it had a lot of very funny moments. I actually found myself digging the family a lot more than when Lowe was on screen. The wife, in particular, started really stepping into her own later in the season.

Bummer, I'm tempted to catch up to see that, but no point since it is going off the air. I figured they'd have to move on from the old school formula, but there is just too much other stuff I'm going back to watch. The way the father played off of Lowe's character to piss off Kevin Arnold was great stuff.

A far too long Vulture article states that it will be toned down compared to the graphic novel.

I'm still gunna watch, but those who had read the graphic novel might be slightly let down.

Loving Preacher. I can't decide whether to grab the comics/graphic novel now and read it, or delay that to maximize enjoyment of the tv show.

One small gripe. Cassidy this remarked that he thinks "The Big Lebowski is an overrated movie." He later states, "it's a shite movie."

Fuck you, vampire. You must die now. Why don't you go take a stroll in the noonday sun.

Yeah, that pissed me off too. But I also kind of laughed at it. Cassidy is great, both in the show and the comic.

I'm liking the show so far. They're definitely veering a bit from the comic, but I think it's holding up so far.
