I tied for the lowest score of the week! In the history of this game, I don't think I've ever done that! And off two 1-pointers I I thought would be wrong or killers. I guessed Willie Nelson because I don't know current country singers, and I thought if there was a gymnast on the list, everyone would know him/her, but it was a safe sport to guess.
The double AB for Charles Barley should have been me, but it looks like Ryan added it in correctly. Thanks Ryan, GG GK.
I really wanted to say Wings, but someone just mentioned the show a few days ago (Thomas Hayden Church reference). After submitting I looked up the answers, and I didn't think The Practice made the list.

I didn't really watch Dawson's Creek, but I've been to Wilmington where references to that show being filmed down there are sprinkled about the area. I just assumed it was based there, so that answer was interesting.

Good game Mystery Tony, and thanks as always Ryan, glad that my standard answers of Red Sox players and Lake Placid led to some low scores.

If it makes you feel better, I thought about answering NH because I visited the New England Ski Museum in Franconia Notch which had a lot of stuff about Bode Miller, but I wimped out because of the years restriction and went with the most popular answer.

I said it before and I’ll say it again. I have no idea how Wings was on for as long as it was. It seemed so generic.

Agree 100%. I might have seen two episodes.
I felt the same way about "Night Court" and "Family Matters." I always wondered who would be excited that after a long week of waiting, "Wings" was finally on.

Was something good on before it, and people just kept the channel on? I don't think it's any different than 90% of sitcoms; a setting with a meaningless plot and a couple quirky characters to flower in a zinger every 90 seconds.

Pawtucket is a bad beat. Trying to remember.. were they part of the longest game ever?
:checks wiki:
YEP! Pawtucket versus the Rochester Red Wings.
There's a very good 30 for 30 podcast on that game, if anyone's looking for a good one off to listen to...
There’s also a book(!) I recently just read called “Bottom Of The 33rd Inning”. Highly recommended.

CORRECT
It's been a while but yep, Michael Jordan (1) - Enoch
Shawn Kemp (1) - GPJ
Scottie Pippen (2) - Brian, Rush
Charles Barkley (2) - Shirley, AB
Patrick Ewing (3) - AB, BSF, Citgo
Horace Grant (3) - Bronto, Duff, Romero
David Robinson (3) - Carwash, LJam, Trav
Dennis Rodman (5) - Bengal, DiS, GoodKarma, Jerloma, Sancarlos
Karl Malone (5) - Cerrano, Chedda, PDX, Pruitt, Rex
Hakeem Olajuwon (5) - DSafe, Giff, Mister D, Rass, Tony
INCORRECT (10)
Tim Duncan - BFJ
Shaquille O'Neal - Nonlinear
LEFTOVERS
Charles Oakley
Clyde Drexler
He had to play in the most playoff games in the 90s, no? I figured that and the fact he always seemed to have a half dozen boards a game made a great choice.

I picked Wings thinking more would choose Cheers.
IMO Wings had a great premise, but I'm not sure the writing was up to the challenge. That said, Tim Daly was too blah (Steven Weber was only slightly better) and the short order cook girlfriend was annoying AF. Tony Shaloub was legendary as the cab driver. Lowell was good too. I guess Roy was as well. But Wings should get credit for having the perfect character actress slotted in as their ticket agent, Fay (Evelyn Schlob Dumbly DeVay) Cochran, played by Rebecca Schull. She was hilarious with her deadpan comedy.

She should be in the Margo Martindale Character Actress Hall of Fame.
GG Enoch. Not going to mention that I would have won 13 of the other matchups.

NP - This was a weird week. One of my least confident weeks and I wind up with probably my lowest score.
Margo Martindale. She was terrifying in Justified.

She really should. I don't know that I even noticed her before she voiced herself on Bojack Horseman and Todd said, "It's esteemed character actor Margo Martindale!" That line cracked me up, so I looked to see who she was. I may have started watching The Americans already, but then Justified, Cocaine Bear and several other shows where she popped up. I think of Todd saying that every time she appears onscreen.

He “retired” atleast once inside that timespan so probably second behind Pippen at the very least?

4-way tie for the last 3 spots in the AFC that I won't figure out unless I have to but otherwise we have:
5-7. Three of Nonlinear, Rex, Giff, and Bengal
Got Nonlinear against Bengal in week 14 and Bengal against Rex in week 17.
Right now their records against each other are:
GIff: 2-1 (beat Bengal in weeks 6 and 8, lost to Nonlinear in week 10)
Nonlinear: Won against Giff week 10, not sure what happened in week 9 against Rex - who won that one?
Rex: Week 9 above and week 17 game
Bengal: 0-2 with two more games (week 14 and 17)
If this tie held, Bengal would have to win in week 17 against Rex or he's likely the odd man out
EDIT: Would need to double check but I do believe this is the first tiebreaker and if you can eliminate one team this way, that's how you do it.
