The coverage of this is pretty cool. Camera angles and directing could use work but the stadium is rocking.

I know next to nothing about women’s college volleyball but that’s damn impressive.

That's an amazing story. I had no idea Nebraska women's volleyball was so big. It's wild that a regular season college volleyball game is now the world record largest crowd at a women's sporting event.

Def a gimmick,, but a super cool one that I hope means more access and visibility. Didn't the Champions league women's final get moved or scheduled specifically to set the largest crowd ever?

European women's soccer has definitely been in an arms race for "biggest crowd ever" in the last year or two. Barcelona got like 90k, IIRC.
Until everything is less insane, I'm mixing weed with wine.

I attended the World Juniors USA-CAN game in Buffalo some years back. It was snowing and our seats were in the upper deck. You really couldn't see all that well.

Top 5 live sporting event experiences.. probably Top 3 really.
