Celebrity Deathmatch: Xfinity vs. Century Link

Post by GoodKarma »

For my upcoming move, i'm torn on what to do about internet service. I think I've decided to keep DirecTV, get Ooma instead of a landline, but undecided about who to use as an ISP.

Does anyone have any thoughts on Xfinity vs. Century Link? Both my wife and I work from home, so fast speed and quality service are important.

CLink isn't an affiliate for ESPN3. Other than that I've had no issues with it.

Yeah I used to have CenturyLink and I can't really say I had any issues. Nothing especially nice to say either I guess. Their customer service is meh, but it's rare for any of those companies to actually have competent customer service, sadly. If Xfinity has ESPN3 that would certainly break the tie for me. I enjoy getting that now that I'm with Cox.

From what I read when I asked a similar question on a local board here in the Front Range, Xfinity is a hell of a lot better than Century Link. Plus the speed for XF is double that of CL for 5$ more a month.
Did you see that ludicrous display last night?
